Date:- 14/1/2016 Time: 13:30 - 14:30 Location:- UOS, Central Library, American Corner- 2nd floor A Short Biographical Sketches about the speakers: 1- Adam Gassner, APP Instructor M.A. Carleton University Adam Gassner taught English in India, Colombia and Saudi Arabia before joining AUIS in February 2013. He also helped found and manage an educational travel company in Delhi, India. Prior to moving into teaching, he held various positions in the NGO, private and government sectors. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in International Development, an M.A. in International Affairs, and a TESL teaching certificate. 2- Peter J. Choi, APP Instructor M.Ed. American College of Education Peter J. Choi joined the APP in May 2014 after having taught English courses in writing composition, grammar, reading comprehension, and literary criticism for the past five years. His current research focuses on the impact of metacognitive instructional methods on the critical analytic abilities in the psychological and behavioral development of language learners.
